Dear Friends,
After spending a week in Nicaragua touring the country and checking in on the work that World Vision is involved in I can say, concretely, that I have never in my life been more impressed with an organization or ministry. I have always been a supporter of WV and it’s efforts around the globe, but even as an artist on the “inside” of the curtain I still had no idea how HUGE of an impact WV was having through child sponsorship. I can also say that I haven’t been this passionate about anything in a long time either. If you had just a few minutes to talk to my manager, my band, or my wife… they would all tell you that my trip truly changed my life and has inspired me to “roll up my sleeves” on behalf of WV and the children in need around the world.

It’s not that I didn’t believe that people were hurting before the trip, it’s just that I wasn’t sure that anybody (ie. any organization) could ever truly reshape a person’s life by a simple $30 a month. I stand corrected. And I stand ready to tell the world that every single person who dares to believe, every person who would, by faith, sow a seed into World Vision, is a person who will instantly become a Hero in the life of the child/family that they have sponsored.

It is without any reservation that I tell you World Vision and child sponsorship is THE REAL DEAL. Letters from my sponsor children constantly lift my spirits as they will yours. Pictures of a child growing before your eyes will fill your mailbox as hope for a better day will fill their heart. Thank you for partnering with Building 429 and World Vision and restoring a child’s ability to dream, to hope, and live to the fullest.
