Cowboys Season!!

Ok people today I've got one thing on my mind… today I’m wondering who’s gonna win the super bowl?? That’s right I said it, the super bowl. I’m a HUGE football fan and I’ve got a hunch on this one… but I’m gonna ask it anyway. What’s your favorite team and why…. Nothing like a little survey to learn a little more about our fans. Now I’m not going to hold anything against you guys for who your team is… unless of course you are a fan of one of our bitter rivals. Now just to go ahead and get this debate started I’ll lead with this… nobody… I MEAN nobody can top my team in terms of history and fans worldwide. Here’s the other important info…. I am not a fair-weather fan. I was a fan during the Danny White era as well as the Super bowl eras that were pre and post Danny White. I’ve been a fan even in the last few years when my team has struggled with terrible personnel decisions thanks to our brilliant owner. So here it is… my team is and always will be the DALLAS COWBOYS. Yeah baby… and this year I’m feeling it… I think we’re back. We got rid of most of our distractions.. (ie T.O, and Packman Jones).. and we’ve got a quarterback who is a Superstar, and yet wears the weight of the world on his shoulders for his mistakes. Here it is people. Tony Romo will have a break out MVP season, or he will not start for the Cowboys again next season. I’m leaning heavily to the breakout season. I think the Cowboys get over the hump and compete for the NFC title this year… with strong competition coming from our respectable rivals, the Eagles…. (I like McNabb) and the Giants, and not much competition coming from our non-respectable rivals… The Redskins. Sorry DC I’ve never been much of a fan. I gotta say that I ride the bus with a bunch of Eagles fans… and if you Philadelphia fans aren’t excited about the possibilities this year there’s something wrong with you. I know Vick may not be the most popular guy but I tell you what… when he’s in the game WATCH OUT PEOPLE… he’s gonna be dangerous… McNabb and Vick in the game at the same time with Westbrook too….. OUCH. Ohh and then you’re achiles heel… back up plan Even if Westbrook goes down you guys have GOT VICK. Good thing big D is going to be playing some serious Dfense this year. Ok and here’s another major forecast. I’M gonna be watching every single game on my new HD TV!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve been whining about HD for the last 2 years and people it has ARRIVED!!!! So if you want to poke fun at me during the season.. I will be posting a BLOG after every Dallas game that you guys can comment back to… and just remember what I said .. ROMO BREAKOUT SEASON… He will be the ROCK STAR quarterback of the year. And then only as ROMO does… he will stop on and help an old lady out with a flat tire on the side of the interstate in Dallas after the big Eagles game that he just won 35-30!!!! People remember this BLOG… I’m pointing at the left field fence line and CALLING IT!!! Note to self (Jason you should probably erase all of this and start over cause if your wrong you're going to seriously be eating your shoes………….. nahhhhh COWBOYS RULE!)
And a final subnoted funny story:
On the plane ride yesterday I met a lady and her husband just back from their honeymoon. She asked about my children and of course I showed her the pictures. To my delight she was totally taken aback as she exclaimed “My God they’re absolutely gorgeous!” which was then followed by the funniest statement I had heard in a long time:”Your wife must be UNBELIEVEABLY BEAUTIFUL!” then dead silence... and then “Oh no, NO I don’t mean that you’re… Well you know…. like I don’t mean that you’re UGLY.” To which I replied…. Nope, you’re right she’s stunning… thank God!!!

I'm agreeing with you whole heartedly Jason! When my mother in law first found out I was a Cowboys fan, she stopped what she was doing, looked at me and said "I don't think this is going to work". The slack we Cowboys fans get is aggravating, but I truly believe that we are the most loyal fans! I live in NC and people can't believe that I would pull for the Cowboys over the Panthers but I don't have it in me to go against my 'boys... Happy watching on your HD TV... Go Romo and Go Cowboys!!
cowboys SUCK!!!! sorry, you would get along great with my churches assistant pastor though. the colts and the cardinals are the BEST!!!
I grew up in the Ft. Worth area and have always been a Cowboys Fan!!! I was a fan when they were 1-15 the first year Jimmy Johnson had them!! Boy he sure turned that team around!! What makes it even worse is that my wife is a Steelers fan! Can you believe that? Last year watching the Superbowl was brutal cause the Cowboys didn't even make the playoffs! I agree with you though, this is their year! All the Cowboy haters are going to be shocked when they see Tony Romo hoisting up the Lombardi Trophy after the superbowl!! :-) Anyways, you guys are great! My wife and I may be coming to the show tomorrow night in Joplin! Keep up the great music and even greater ministry! God bless!
I am NOT a fan of football (or sports in general.) Sorry to disappoint. I'm just not competitive enough. It's a game. A game! No one's life is hanging in the balance over it, and yet people (ok, my husband) get ridiculous and shout and scream over it. So not worth it to me. Stresses me out in fact. So...not sports for me.
Anyhoo...I'll get off that soapbox now.
The story about the lady on the plane is hilarious!
You guys are actually playing about an hour away from me, tonight. Sadly, a sick child, an overtime working husband, and lack of funds are all preventing me from being there. But, oh how I wish I could be there!

Everone in my family is a cowboy fan, but im the biggest fan.
I think they should atleast win a playoff game this year now that we've got new players and got rid of some old one (T.O.)

Sorry Jason! I can't go for the cowboys! I'm only a Colts and Steelers fan! But..... if the cowboys go to the superbowl and none of my favs go then I'll pull for them..... You guys sounded Awesome Sept. 24 at the concert in Cleremont, Ga. Thnx for signing my poster! I have it in my room on my wall! :) I have the new cd. Whoo-hoo!!! My fav song on it is always. my 2nd fav is bring me back (i've got it memorized:). and my 3rd is overcome. Awesome recordings. I enjoyed yall to the tops. you rock my socks off. thanks for showing me and everyone else that we should put our focus on Christ. Hope to go to another concert of yours soon.
